A good journalist can also conduct an interview in another language. It has been shown that through the use of an interpreter, the person interviewed can talk more openly and deeply about issues. Sometimes half a word in your own language has more impact than a whole sentence in a foreign language. Our native speaker interpreters would just require this half word!
